Gymnastic Equipment, Yes or No?
Four years ago, I asked myself this
question. My back pain had become
intolerable, and I had to do something to ease the pain. But what could I do? Which gymnastic
equipment would work best for me?
I sought advice, but everyone I asked had a
different suggestion. My physician, an
Orthopaedic specialist, suggested that I workout on gymnastic equipment during
my visits. I did some stretches and was
very pleased with the result.
Unfortunately, after 20 of the same applications, my pain returned as it
was in the beginning! I was very
disappointed. I felt that my time and
money had been wasted. With all the
expense, the unnecessary shots and all the different applications (e.g. massages),
and the water gymnastics with various types of gymnastic equipment, I enjoyed
no lasting success.
I knew this pain could not continue, so I
enrolled in a gymnastic training center.
I never imagined there would be so much gymnastic equipment
available! Under professional guidance,
I began to train carefully with different types of gymnastic equipment. I took the advice of my trainer and began to
alternate between using the gymnastic equipment and doing stretch exercises. My instructor suggested I do this to avoid
unnecessary muscular strain. I felt
really good about myself because this was something I could accomplish without
placing excessive demands on my body.
Next, a spinal column course was offered,
which was an amazing break-through for me.
One participant told me that she made it a priority to do her gymnastics
first thing in the morning and now she experiences no more pain. I decided to do the same. I thought about the
saying, "If she can do it, I can too!"
So, I bought my very first piece of
gymnastic equipment along with a very good exercise mat. Each morning, I
dedicated approximately 20 minutes to do my gymnastic workout. Now, I have no
more back pain, and am once again in top physical shape! To be honest, I am very proud of myself. It's a wonderful feeling!
After getting the feel for my gymnastic
equipment, I have now expanded my equipment to include rubber bands, Gymnastic Ball
and a CROSS coach. I recommend that you
do not give up. Plan your own workout
schedule, and you'll be satisfied with the results just as I have been. So far, no pain has returned. You can experience this too.
Regular exercise is one of the top
preventive measures to ensure a healthy future. The phrase "old people's
home" doesn't have to enter into your mind. Start an exercise routine today with your own
gymnastic equipment. It will be one of the best investments of your life.
